Who We Are

Northwestern KASA is a student-run organization that welcomes all undergraduate students sharing an interest in Korean culture, community, and issues.

While KASA primarily serves as a home away from home for students who identify with as Korean or Korean-American, we also focus on spreading awareness for all of our campus by holding events pertaining to Korean heritage and culture. We also strive to mobilize our members to continue engaging with their communities beyond their time at Northwestern.

We aim to be a welcoming community to Koreans, Korean Americans, and all students interested in the Korean culture at Northwestern University. We aim to provide a culturally fun yet empowering environment. Ultimately, we aim to be the voice of Koreans, Korean Americans, and all students interested in the Korean culture on campus. We want Northwestern to be known not only for its academic prestige but also its many successful and thriving cultural organizations.
